EDExpress

What is EDExpress?

The Electronic Data Exchange for Express Entry (EDExpress) is a software program developed by the U.S. Department of Education.

What is the purpose of EDExpress?

Primarily used by financial aid administrators and staff at colleges, universities, and vocational schools, EDExpress is a tool for navigating federal student aid programs. By providing tools for processing applications, disbursements, and reporting, EDExpress helps colleges and universities manage the administration of federal student aid programs, including Pell Grants, direct loans, and Federal Work-Study.

How do I find out if I qualify for federal aid?

When you complete your Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), information such as your income and expected family contribution (EFC) are factored in to determine your eligibility for federal aid. Colleges and universities use the information collected on your FAFSA to tailor financial aid packages to meet the needs of qualifying students. For more information, contact Federal Student Aid or your institution's Financial Aid department.
