I started at Goodwin in 2002 when the college was located on Burnside Avenue in East Hartford. I’ve been humbled by the growth of the college and our students ability to persist, all while juggling life’s challenges. I’m grateful to lead an enrollment team that is focused on helping people pursue their educational, professional, and personal dreams. It’s a great feeling to watch people find their purpose in life.

I started working at Goodwin University in 2009. A motivating factor for me to pursue higher education was due to my family’s history. My family and I immigrated to the United States from Cambodia in 1981 due to a civil war where poverty, enslavement, torture, education and basic human rights were stripped. I want to help those who seek an education and a better life the same opportunity.

I have been with Goodwin University since April of 2010. I enjoy working in the Admissions Department and helping our students achieve their goals. Prior to working as an Admissions Officer at Goodwin University I spent several years working in retail where I learned quickly how to balance being a full time student and having a full time job. I graduated from Central Connecticut State University with my Bachelor’s in English and a minor in Psychology and received my Master’s Degree in Education at University of St. Joseph.

I started my journey at Goodwin in 2012 after graduating with my bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2009. I come from a big Italian family that showed me how far passion and hard work will take you, and now I love helping students see their potential, follow their goals, and cheer them on along the way.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and son & our big extended family, dominating in word games (Scrabble, crosswords, you name it!), down at the beach, getting coffee & soy chai lattes, and seeing my friends as much as possible.

I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in English from Westfield State University in 2012 and am currently completing my master’s degree in Organizational Leadership here at Goodwin. I love to spend time with family and friends, traveling, and binge watching Netflix when I have some down time.

From Eastern I earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. I joined the Goodwin Admissions team in 2021 shortly after moving back to Connecticut from New Orleans. I received my BA in sociology from Loyola University of New Orleans in 2015. New Orleans is a magical city that will always have a special place in my heart. I am an avid animal lover and I am still involved with animal rescues in Louisiana. I am a huge Harry Potter fan! In my spare time you can find me reading, playing video games, or watching TV with my pets.

I received my BA in Communications and a minor is Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2020 and went back to school to receive my masters in elementary ed where I learned a lot about how to teach and assist students in their daily lives. I love to travel and explore new places as well hiking local trails or relaxing anywhere by an ocean or a lake.

I joined the Admissions team here at Goodwin University in July 2021. I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a BA in History & Social Science and a minor in Pre-Law in 2021. I played DIII Lacrosse at Eastern and was named Captain during my final year. I love spending time outdoors doing things like picnics, hiking/camping, beach days, etc.

After spending the last few years teaching younger students in a classroom setting, I’m excited to get back to working with adult learners! Lori has been a part of Goodwin University’s admissions department since September of 2007. She attended Asnuntuck Community College but left to stay home and raise her daughter. She has a background in banking and process improvement which has helped her in her current position. Her true passion is traveling and she and her husband Jerry, who also works for Goodwin, have been to many exotic Caribbean Islands. When not traveling, Lori enjoys spending time with family and friends.
