Nick Lentino has been with Goodwin College in the Admissions Department since 2002. The spirit of the Goodwin community and the students the College serves are the biggest reasons why Nick finds Goodwin to be such a big part of his life.
Nick grew up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts and graduated from Providence College in 1996. He started interning for a local morning radio show shortly after graduation. His sister, Tamara Webb, is a Curriculum Director and a Psychology professor at the College and had admissions experience at the time the College was formally a business school named Data Institute. She suggested that Nick try getting involved with the Admissions office. Paula has been working for the Admissions Department at Goodwin College since June of 2013. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a concentration in Culture and Communication from the University of Connecticut in 2010. That experience led Paula to become a peer mentor to Latino first-year and transfer students and allowed her to assist these students to become successful and feel integrated in all aspects of campus life.
After college, Paula fell in love with working in the education field when she had the opportunity to teach Spanish at Saint Martha School in Enfield, CT. Being able to teach 4th through 8th grade students a foreign language is one of her most cherished experiences. From that, Paula knew she wanted to continue helping students achieve academic success and which is what eventually led her to Goodwin College.
Learning Spanish at a young age has given Paula the opportunity to work directly with Spanish speaking students who are coming to Goodwin to learn English in order to further their educations and careers in the United States.
