How to get started

1. Prepare for and take the TEAS exam through ATI

TEAS scores must be officially received by Friday, January 2, 2026.

  • If you are taking an exam remote proctored by ATI, please select ATI Remote Proctor - Nursing
  • Be sure to give yourself enough time to submit your transcript. It can take up to 3 business days for your Official TEAS Transcript to be submitted to your institution. Please make sure to account for “submission time” when selecting a test date.

Admissions will ONLY be in contact after an official score of 54.7% or higher is received directly from the ATI site.

  • Unofficial scores are not accepted; scores must be transferred through ATI to Goodwin U LPN.
  • If you have previously taken the TEAS exam, scores are valid for 5 years
  • Both the TEAS website and Study.com have great materials students can purchase to help you prep for the exam.

2. After passing the TEAS exam & transferring your score, an admissions officer will notify you that your score has been officially received from ATI.

Applicants who score 54.7% or higher on the TEAS exam are eligible to start the required prerequisite coursework for the LPN program.
