Goodwin's "Kid Care" Child Care Program

Are your child care options inconsistent? Are you worried about missing classes when your child care situation is compromised? We are here to help!
Goodwin Kid Care is an on-campus drop-in child care service that provides supplemental child care assistance for Goodwin University students during class time. Take advantage of this exceptional service and opportunity to keep your children engaged, happy, safe, and near you when you are in class. Children will have opportunities to make new friends and explore math, science, reading, and technology.
At Goodwin Kid Care, your child will
- Make new friends and get peer support
- Participate in themed enrichment opportunities and indoor/outdoor physical activities
- Enjoy interactive lessons in music/movement and gaming/coding
- Get one-on-one homework support from teachers
- Make fun crafts and projects
- Sit down for story time
- Create healthy snacks to share
- Play games
Eligibility and availability
Goodwin Kid Care is open to children of Goodwin University students ages 3-12. There are limited slots available in this program, with priority going to students who are Pell Grant and/or SNAP eligible. All students must complete an application and an interview with the program director prior to utilizing this service.
How much does this cost?
Goodwin Kid Care is offered in two-hour blocks, at a cost of $15 per two-hour block per child. This program is available at no cost to Pell Grant-eligible students and those receiving SNAP benefits.
Where is Kid Care located?
Goodwin Kid Care is conveniently located at 167 Riverside Drive on the Goodwin University campus in rooms 3 and 5. Please note: there are separate classrooms for children ages 3-7 and 8-12.

Kid Care Program Director Jill Brown is an accomplished administrator, teacher, and mentor with over three decades of experience teaching and working with children.
