Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement (AP) tests are administered by CollegeBoard:

  • Tests are offered to high school students as a means of earning college credit while still in high school.
  • Credit is not given for the AP course – credit is only given for a passing score on the AP exam.
  • The table below shows the name of each Advanced Placement test, the Goodwin University course equivalent, the minimum score required to be awarded credit, and the number of credits earned for a passing score.
