From your earliest semesters, you’ll work with x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, learn digital imaging techniques, and practice radiation protection and quality control. As a Radiography student, you’ll assess patient condition, operate imaging equipment, and contribute in real clinical environments — so you graduate prepared.

Learn the technology behind modern medical imaging

Get hands on with today’s advanced imaging equipment while preparing for a high-demand career. When you graduate from our Radiography program, you’ll be ready to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam in Radiography. With that credential, radiologic technologists can step into entry-level roles in hospitals, outpatient centers, medical offices, and community health agencies.

Advance your education when you’re ready

Earn your associate degree with 80 credits of core, non-major, and major coursework in as few as 20-24 months part time.¹ The program offers two class starts each year — fall and spring — so you can begin when it fits your schedule. Fall classes meet during the day, while spring classes are offered in the evenings and on weekends, making balancing work and life commitments easier. Each start welcomes approximately 12-20 students, ensuring small-group learning and close faculty support. Later, you may continue toward a bachelor’s in Health Science to broaden your roles or move into leadership, education, or advanced clinical work.

The JRCERT accredits radiography programs in the United States. The JRCERT utilizes a series of Standards for an accredited program in Radiography and requires programs to provide assurances that it can continue to meet accreditation standards. The JRCERT accreditation process offers a means of providing assurance to the public that a program meets specific quality standards. The accreditation process not only helps to maintain program quality but stimulates program improvement through outcome assessment.
