Associate Degree in Radiography

radiology program in connecticut

Launch a rewarding career in medical imaging as a radiographer

Today’s healthcare depends on diagnostic imaging more than ever. X-ray technicians and radiologic technologists play a critical role in diagnosing disease, guiding treatment, and ensuring patient safety. In Goodwin University’s on-ground Radiography program, you’ll build foundational knowledge and hands-on skills that let you support patients in hospitals, clinics, and medical offices.

Gain hands-on clinical training

From your earliest semesters, you’ll work with x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, learn digital imaging techniques, and practice radiation protection and quality control. As an x-ray tech student, you’ll assess patient condition, operate imaging equipment, and contribute in real clinical environments — so you graduate prepared.

Learn the technology behind modern medical imaging

Get hands on with today’s advanced imaging equipment while preparing for a high-demand career. When you graduate from our radiography program, you’ll be ready to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam in radiography. With that credential, radiologic technologists can step into entry-level roles in hospitals, outpatient centers, medical offices, and community health agencies.
