If you have a health emergency, you or a trusted friend should contact your health insurance provider as soon as possible and as soon as you are safe. Please remember to carry your health insurance card with you everywhere you go while in the US. It is also smart to keep a copy with a trusted friend or family member back home. The IPO will also have a copy.
