Yes! Goodwin students should sign up to receive LiveSafe alerts through the LiveSafe App. LiveSafe is UB’s on-demand safety companion, which includes features like real-time reporting, virtual walking escorts, immediate emergency response with emergency services, and an interactive campus map. Campus life

Yes, Welding students can access a designated lounge near the Welding Lab in the Stean’s Advanced Manufacturing Center. Check with your program coordinator for location details.
Parking and transportation
Students can park in designated lots or use street parking. A parking permit is required and can be obtained from Campus Security.

There are snack and drink vending machines available throughout campus. The vending center in the Health Science building serves coffee, hot chocolate, sandwiches, salads, yogurt parfaits, fruit cups, and breakfast pastries.

Goodwin’s Counseling and Wellness Center provides mental health services, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group counseling, and more to address the needs of our students and support our community. These services are available to students at no cost and can be accessed online or in person. Please visit goodwin.edu/counseling to learn more.
UB’s Health Services Center is managed by Hartford HealthCare. The center offers student healthcare for the treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. Serious medical problems are referred to the local hospital emergency room.
