Testing Center Accommodations

Process for students and faculty

  1. Student sends accommodation letter
    The student provides their signed and approved Letter of Accommodation (LOA) to each course instructor. This letter is issued by the Office of Disability and Access Services.
  2. Instructor reviews accommodation letter
    Upon receipt, the instructor reviews the LOA. If the letter includes testing accommodations for in-person exams (e.g., extended time, distraction-reduced testing environment), the instructor proceeds with the steps below.
  3. Instructor submits exam materials to Testing Center
    The instructor completes the Testing Center Administration Form and submits it to , at least 24hrs before the exam. This submission should also include any necessary materials, such as:
    • Online exam login instructions
    • PDFs or copies of paper exams
  4. Testing Center coordinates with student
    The Testing Center contacts the student via their Goodwin student email to schedule the exam, confirm details, and review Testing Center policies and procedures.
