Academic Success Center

The Goodwin College Academic Success Center seeks to promote and foster student learning and development by providing free tutoring service to all students of the College. As part of Student Services, the Academic Success Center is a support service for students enrolled in any of Goodwin’s foundational and college-level courses. Tutoring is available by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Service is provided by both Professional and Peer Tutors. Professional Tutors are also available for proctoring of exams.

The Academic Success Center also provides access to an online tutoring service called eTutoring, where live tutors can provide help with writing, math, accounting, biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, information literacy, and research methods.

The Academic Success Center is not a substitute for attending classes and the sessions are not meant to re-teach material covered by the class Instructor. Students should regularly attend class and come prepared to participate in their own learning during a tutoring session. We are here to support and encourage students’ academic success.
