A fast track to immediate job opportunities in manufacturing
Companies throughout Connecticut are in immediate need of well-trained industry professionals to join their workforce. If you are a dedicated worker willing to rise to the challenge, our 37-credit accelerated certificate program in CNC Machining, Metrology, and Manufacturing Technology is the right program for you.
We’ve joined forces with Connecticut manufacturers to make our program shorter in length — and less expensive — than other schools, to get you working in the field in no time. Take classes full-time for just 22 1/2-weeks and gain the career-focused training you need to land an in-demand job in the industry. You may even be eligible for internship, scholarship, and job placement opportunities.
Classes are held Monday through Friday and combine classroom instruction, hands-on training in our state-of-the-art facility, and in-field training.
Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Individuals who successfully complete this certificate program will gain a holistic understanding of machining a part from design to quality assurance, and develop competencies in theoretical and practical measurement that will make them an effective member of any manufacturing team.
Successful completion of this certificate program also prepares participants to pursue a National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credential as a CNC Operator.
This program is open enrollment and there are no wait lists.
