Your education is about more than earning a degree — it’s about preparing for your future career. That’s why Goodwin is excited to offer a new career tool for students and alumni: VMock.
VMock is an online resumé and cover letter tool that helps you improve your application materials using smart, easy-to-follow feedback. Best of all, it’s available 24/7, so you can use it anytime and anywhere.
What is VMock?
VMock is an AI-powered platform that reviews your resumé and cover letter and teaches you how to prepare them for job applications.
Simply upload your document, and VMock will provide feedback showing what’s working well and what could be improved. As you work with the platform to revise your resumé, you’ll see your progress move from red to yellow to green, with green being the goal.
How does VMock help build my resumé?
With VMock, it’s easy to get started even if you’ve never written a resumé before.
Beyond a simple spell check, this tool provides templates designed to fit your professional field and are based on the formats already used and recommended by Goodwin’s Career Services team. They’re simple, professional, and easy to read — just the way employers prefer them.
Your documents are created in accessible formats, starting in Word and saved securely as PDFs, so they’re easy to share with employers and compatible with online application systems.
Whether you’re applying for your first job, getting ready for clinicals, or planning your next career move after graduation, VMock gives you a strong start.
Who can use VMock?
VMock is available to:
- Current Goodwin University students
- On-campus and online learners

An on-the-go resource for career success
Not every student can meet one-on-one with a career advisor — and that’s okay.
VMock helps ensure that every student and alum has access to resumé support.
VMock makes career support more accessible. You can log in at any time, including late at night, early in the morning, or whenever you have time. If you work a long shift or study from home, you can still make progress on your resumé without waiting for an appointment.
Preparing to visit Career Services?

While it’s not required, you can use VMock to polish your resumé before connecting with Career Services. That way, you can focus on deeper conversations about interviews, career paths, and potential employers in your field.
Ready to build your resumé?
You don’t need a “perfect” resumé to get started. VMock is a place to learn, revise, and grow at your own pace. Think of it like tutoring for your resumé: always available, easy to use, and focused on helping you succeed.
Your future career starts with one step. And at Goodwin, VMock is here to help you take it.
