About the Center for Teaching Excellence
Mission
The mission of the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) at Goodwin University is to provide faculty with professional development that enhances their effectiveness in the classroom and in the area of a particular studies. The CTE will nurture the faculty community to help them realize their academic, professional, and personal potential. The CTE will provide the innovation for lifelong learning through collaboration with faculty, students, staff, administration and the community as a whole.
Goal
The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) was established in 2015 at Goodwin University to provide and promote teaching and learning excellence through collaboration of faculty, creation of professional development relating to pedagogy, and the nurturing of the faculty community to support and encourage their academic, professional, and personal potential.
