Frequently asked questions

Once you have received a schedule for your upcoming semester, you can begin the process of getting your materials. We offer options both in-store and online. For online purchases, you can check the bookstore website under “Textbooks”. Here, you will be able to check each course and its corresponding materials by selecting the Course Code, Number, and Section on your schedule. You may also bring in a copy of your schedule to the bookstore for help in person. We will grab your books from our stock and proceed with the checkout process.
Financial Aid is supplied to qualified students per semester. Funds are tied to your Colleague ID number and can be used either in store by giving it to your cashier or online by typing in your ID during the payment screen during checkout. Funds are open for use two weeks before classes start and close two weeks after classes begin.
Your Colleague ID is a 7-digit number that is given to you upon becoming a student at Goodwin University and is directly correlated with your financial aid funds. It can be found on your schedule, in your Canvas account, and in your Welcome email from the school. If you have trouble finding this number, we recommend you reach out to your advisor for assistance.
Depending on your courses, both physical or digital materials may be available. Be aware some courses are digital only. You can inquire about what your course requires by contacting the bookstore via email, phone, or in person.
Yes, for physical materials you can choose to have the items shipped to you via our online store. Unfortunately, we do not take shipping or pickup orders over the phone. Financial Aid funds will cover any shipping costs should you have funds allotted to you. For digital materials, access codes will be sent to your email whether purchased in-store or online.
Various course materials are available for rental. The rental period begins when you make your purchase and ends when the semester is over. The exact due date for return can be found on your receipt. Books can be brought back in person or sent back to the store via mail.
