Classes are available on-campus or in hybrid formats, with 15-week or accelerated 7½-week classes, with 6 class starts a year. So you can apply at any time and the classes are available when you need them!
In Goodwin’s accounting program, you will gain experience in entering transactional, adjusting, and closing entries into an accounting system; investigating trial balance discrepancies; managing payroll; and preparing financial reports. You will work with general ledgers, journals, and financial statements. You will enhance your skills in inventory consulting, managerial accounting, and learn the ins-and-outs of the industry’s standard software systems.
Upon completion of the associate degree in Accounting program, you will be prepared to sit for the professional certification in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel. And an AS Accounting Program will prepare you for a variety of entry-level jobs within the financial field. No matter what position you choose, there will be plenty of room to grow.
