Prioritize Wellness with TimelyCare

Navigating schoolwork, personal issues, and everyday life is oftentimes a challenge. At Goodwin University, we want our students to succeed in their academics — all while remaining happy and healthy. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve officially partnered with TimelyCare, a virtual health and wellness platform for students to help them prioritize and take care of their well-being. TimelyCare provides 24/7 support, whether through a mobile app or a desktop.

More than 400 colleges and universities utilize and trust TimelyCare to provide a range of mental health services for their students, faculty, and staff.

Who can use TimelyCare?

Any currently enrolled Goodwin University student can access TimelyCare for free. Users do not need insurance to access the app.

How does TimelyCare work?

TimelyCare is a mental health app specifically designed with college students and campuses in mind. The app offers 24/7 support, nationwide coverage, access to the right level of care, translation services for 240+ languages, and more.

Students can access these FREE services from any web-enabled device (desktop, smartphone, tablet, etc.) through the official TimelyCare app or at app.timelycare.com.

Complete the following steps to register and receive care:

Mobile users

  1. Download the TimelyCare app and register using your school email address.
  2. Press “Get Care” to get started.

Desktop users

  1. Go to app.timelycare.com.
  2. Register your account using your school email address.
  3. Press “Get Care” to get started.

What services does TimelyCare provide?

TimelyCare provides a wide array of mental health services for students, faculty, and staff.

  • TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand emotional support to talk about anything, including anxiety, relationships, depression, and school-related stressors.
  • Scheduled Counseling: Choose the day, time, and mental health provider that works best for you. (6 visits per year)
  • Self-Care Content: Visit the Self-Care tab for 24/7 access to tools and resources, such as meditation and yoga sessions, helpful videos, and short articles from experts.
  • Peer Community: An anonymous and judgment-free space where you can connect with, react to, and support other students going through similar situations.
  • Basic Needs Support: Get connected to free or reduced-cost community resources, including food and housing assistance, transit support, childcare, and finances.

Whether you’re taking remote classes or earning your degree on campus, TimelyCare is a free resource you have 24/7 access to. Connect with mental health practitioners and fellow peers, access self-care tools, get connected to free or no-cost care, and so much more.
