What is the Structure of the Classes?
Classes are two hours long and are held in the morning or evening. Classes may also be conducted in two-part sessions.
When are Classes Offered?
Classes are offered three times a year. Each session has a Spring, Summer, and Fall session. Classes are held on Fridays at Goodwin College from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at the East Hartford South End Senior Center from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
How Much Does ACE Cost?
All classes offered through the ACE Program are FREE.
Who Do I Contact if I am Interested in Taking a Class Through ACE?
Those interested in taking an ACE class must register. Claude Mayo is the ACE Program Coordinator. You may reach him through email at CMayo@goodwin.edu to sign up for classes.
Where Are Programs Offered?
Classes offered through the ACE Program are offered at the East Hartford South End Senior Center and at Goodwin College.
Who are the Teachers?
Teachers are mainly faculty members from Goodwin College who have chosen to participate in the ACE Program as a way to share their passion and expertise. They have a wealth of knowledge in the subject matter they decide to teach.
What Types of Classes are Offered?
Class topics have included Computer Skills, Health Information, History, Sign Language, and Personal Safety.
