Phlebotomy is the practice of drawing blood and collecting blood specimens for laboratory analysis. Not only must you be able to draw blood quickly and efficiently, but you will also need strong interpersonal skills to help put your patients at ease.

Hands-on phlebotomy training

At Goodwin, we supplement our in-class phlebotomy training with hands-on experience in the field. You will intern in a healthcare facility or clinical laboratory, which will allow you to apply your knowledge and skills in performing clinical phlebotomy procedures.
