Meet the PMHNP Program Director

Dr. Gina Reiners has over 30 years of academic, business, and clinical psychiatric expertise. She has previously served as a Director, Manager, Administrator, Educator, and Clinician in various settings across the patient lifespan.

Dr. Gina Reiners has earned two bachelor's degrees and two master's degrees in psychology and nursing. She has also obtained her Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Leadership in Higher Education. Gina Reiners additionally holds two certifications as a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Gina Reiners is also the sole owner of her private psychiatric practice, specializing in Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, and Insomnia disorders. She has also presented several times at the annual National American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) Conference.

As a holistic PMHNP Program Director, Dr. Reiners joins the Goodwin family with energy and enthusiasm for helping students fulfill their psychiatric nursing goals.
