Bio
Jayanti Roy has over 25 years of experience as a college professor. Dr. Roy has taught in India and Singapore and has practiced Psychology in Australia as a licensed Australian Psychologist. Thus, she brings a global and diverse teaching perspective to her classroom. Among the pioneers of online teaching and learning at Goodwin College Dr. Roy has now become a Teaching Fellow of Universal Design Learning (UDL). She is Course Coordinator of Lifespan Development and Psychology of Learning. Her Ph.D. is in Social Psychology and current research interests include studying social psychology in work contexts integrating the community and commerce with her teaching.

Teaching Philosophy
As an educator my duty is not only to impart subject matter knowledge to my students, but also influence their actions and character. The training that my students will receive in class should give my students the outlook and tools they need to be successful outside of class.
