  1. Hospitals and Clinical Practices<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Medical <\/span>billers and coders can<\/span> work in <\/span>almost <\/span>every type of <\/span>clinical<\/span> facility, including <\/span>hospitals, <\/span>doctor<\/span>s\u2019<\/span> offices, <\/span>and outpatient centers<\/span>. <\/span>They are needed to document and code each medical procedure a patient receives, and to process bills and insurance claims<\/span> accordingly.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
