Nurses are needed today more than ever before. If the recent <\/span>outbreak of C<\/span>OVID<\/span>-19 has taught us anything, it is the importance of health care workers. <\/span>This may have inspired you to answer the call to work on the fron<\/span>t<\/span>lines and become a healthcare hero. But if you<\/span>‘<\/span>ve already earned <\/span>your<\/span> degree in a different field, you may be <\/span>feeling a bit discouraged.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With an ABSN program<\/span>,<\/span> like the one at Goodwin University, students may take their hard-earned <\/span>college <\/span>credits and a<\/span>pply them toward their nursing degree, saving time on their new career path. <\/span>If<\/span> you\u2019ve earned that bachelor\u2019s degree from <\/span>a <\/span>regionally accredited<\/span> college or university, and you maintained a 3.0 grade-point average, you are good to go! <\/span>Often called a <\/span>second degree nursing program<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>an ABSN<\/span> will <\/span>enable<\/span> you to get licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) <\/span>and <\/span>start working<\/span> in the healthcare field quickly.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
