In our phlebotomy classes at Goodwin College, you will learn to conduct venous and capillary specimen collection effectively; perform basic laboratory testing; and demonstrate lab safety techniques. And to acquire hands-on working knowledge of the field, you will intern in a healthcare facility or clinical laboratory. Your internship will provide you with the opportunity to apply knowledge and skill in performing clinical phlebotomy procedures.<\/p>\n
