The pathway to a great career in manufacturing.<\/strong>
\nThere are more great careers in manufacturing than there are trained people to fill them. In response
\nto this demand, we have created the Manufacturing Readiness Program to prepare students for these
\ngreat careers. Students will participate in a 6-week academic boot camp, followed by enrollment in
\nour 18-credit CNC Manufacturing program. The academic boot camp portion includes tutoring and
\nguidance in basic math and English in a friendly and supportive environment and an introduction to
\nthe manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n

This training program is offered to students at no cost.<\/strong>
\nThanks to generous grants from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and the U.S. Department
\nof Labor National Emergency Grant, we are offering this program tuition-free to those who qualify* \u2014
\nand all books and supplies are included.<\/p>\n

Students receive career placement assistance.<\/strong>
\nUpon the successful completion of this program, students will receive placement assistance from our
\nCareer Services team in partnership with the Connecticut Business & Industry Association and Capital
\nWorkforce Partners.<\/p>\n
