The Connecticut League for Nursing (CLN) held its 35th Annual RN Student Day on November 4, 2015, at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, Connecticut. The Goodwin College Admissions team was among the exhibitors at the event, which brought together more than 850 graduating nursing students to support their transition to practice with a day of education and an opportunity to network with employers and school representatives offering graduate nursing education.<\/p>\n

The theme was \u201cPursuing Your Passion\u2026The Journey from Student to Nurse.\u201d Tracy Ortelli, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF presented a dynamic keynote address highlighting the importance of students\u2019 aligning their strengths, passions, and purpose with the type of work settings that create positive patient outcomes and environments in which employees thrive, learn, and grow.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoodwin is proud to support CLN,\u201d said Dan Williamson, Assistant Director of Admissions at the College. \u201cWe believe in encouraging students to continue their educations so that when career opportunities present themselves, they are well prepared to make the move. Goodwin is incredibly proud of its nursing program, and we were happy to take part in CLN\u2019s Annual RN Student Day.\u201d<\/p>\n
