At the Riverside Magnet School at Goodwin College (formerly the Goodwin College Early Childhood Magnet School), students and families find a caring, supportive environment.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At the Riverside Childhood Magnet School<\/a> (RMS), we have created a nurturing community comprised of learners that value our families while fostering genuine relationships. Our environments and opportunities are thoughtfully created in response to children\u2019s interests, which guide authentic and meaningful learning experiences.<\/p>\n

RMS offers young children—Prekindergarten through grade 5—an exciting curriculum that builds their cognitive, social, language, creative, and physical skills. The school\u2019s curriculum is project based and applies the world-famous Reggio Emilia model. The Reggio Emilia model empowers children to reach their full potential by controlling the direction of their learning, finding endless ways and opportunities to express themselves, and learning through all five senses. Family and community are at the heart of Reggio Emilia, and so parents are welcome to participate in curriculum and activities.<\/p>\n
