The demand for Registered Nurses is on the rise!<\/h2>\n

With an aging population and growing emphasis on preventative care, the Bureau of Labor Statistics is predicting that the RN workforce will grow by more than half a million workers between 2012 and 2022. Pursuing an associate degree in nursing can help put you in an in-demand career, whether you’re in one of the nation’s 5,724 registered hospitals, or in a nursing home, doctor’s office, rehabilitation center, or any of the other opportunities available across the nation or right here in CT.<\/p>\n

A recent survey<\/a> by the Connecticut Department of Labor shows that even locally, job opportunities for registered nurses continues to rise. The Department of Labor found that of the top 20 job vacancies statewide, RNs were at the top of the list with 1,763 estimated total vacancies.<\/p>\n
