Do you want to work in a fast paced, exciting career that saves lives?
Do you learn best by hand-on learning? The Goodwin College Paramedic Program
prepares graduates to sit for licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Connecticut.
What are Paramedics?
Paramedics are health professionals that are a part of the
Emergency Medical System (EMS). They provide care to patients with illness or
injury at the site of the event. They also provide pre-hospital care.
Paramedics often work in busy, chaotic environments. One call may take them to an office
where an individual is experiencing the symptoms of a heart attack. The next
call may be to a major accident on the highway.
