At Goodwin, you can complete your certificate in Medical Assisting in a short time — in as few as 12 months — while also positioning yourself for future success with a college degree. Some schools offer training in medical assisting — but not for college credit. Upon completion of the collegiate certificate program, immediately upon graduation you are eligible to apply for:
- The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) examination administered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- The Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) examination administered by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- The Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) examination administered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
