We understand that our students need to work to support themselves and their families. 62% of our students work: full- or part-time, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, while attending Goodwin College. We know that money doesn’t grow on trees and that figuring out how to finance your education can be confusing and scary. That’s why a dedicated Financial Aid Officer will work with you to design a financial plan to meet your needs. We know our students are busy and that’s why we offer flexible class schedules to make it possible for you to achieve an education on your own terms.

Time To Complete
We understand that no one’s schedule is quite the same and there are some responsibilities that you just can’t shake. That’s why we offer flexible class schedules to make it possible for you to achieve your education on your own terms. Find out more about our class formats, course length options, class schedules and the time that is needed to complete your degree whether you attend full- or part-time.
Class Formats offered:
- Online – Attending classes online, through our Blackboard system.
- On-ground – Attending classes on-ground at our campus with faculty and peer face-to-face learning.
- Hybrid – Both online and classroom venues are available in traditional and 7.5-week schedules. Students meet three times per course, completing other classwork online and in study groups.
Course length
7.5-week courses: We offer accelerated courses so you can complete your degree faster!
15-week courses: We also offer a standard 15-week course schedule.
Class Schedules
At Goodwin we offer day, evening and weekend classes. Classes are in session Monday through Sunday.
We offer three sessions per year each consisting of two modules, giving you the option of taking a full 15-week class or two 7.5-week classes per session.

Getting The Most Out Of Your Time
Patty is a mother of 4 who works full-time and wasn’t sure how she could find the time to go back to school. By taking advantage of Goodwin’s three academic sessions per year, she is able to complete her Associate Degree by going to school part-time in only 36 months.
Jack is a veteran who was recently discharged from the Marines and wants to get an education leading to a great career. His Yellow Ribbon Program benefits took him farther at Goodwin College, because Goodwin applies them to three academic sessions per year – most other schools would only cover two. Jack was also able to have his military experience evaluated for college credit, and now he can finish his Bachelor’s Degree full-time in only 3 years.
Rosa is fresh out of high school and knows that she wants to go to college and come out with a great degree leading to a great career. Rosa did well in high school and received grants and a scholarship to pursue her education. Serious about her education, Rosa attends Goodwin full-time and will be able to complete the five sessions needed to earn her Associate degree in only 18 months.
Raymond is a family oriented, hardworking business man. He has always wished to hold a higher role in his current organization but didn’t have the education to do so. Raymond isn’t in a rush to finish his degree but he did come to Goodwin with transfer credits to apply towards his education. To his advantage at Goodwin, he can take classes during each of the three academic sessions per year. With his prior learning credits Raymond can now finish his Bachelor’s Degree part-time in only two years.

Goodwin College’s degree and certificate programs are designed to allow students to meet their goals at an accelerated pace, including the potential to earn a bachelor’s degree in as little as three years for full-time students. Goodwin offers three academic sessions each year for faster degree completion, and part-time and working students benefit from a full range of evening and weekend course offerings.

Stephanie
