High School Applicants

High School Admission Requirements
Goodwin College welcomes applications from graduates of accredited high schools or persons who have a high school equivalency diploma.

General Admissions Policy
Goodwin College has an open-enrollment policy. Acceptance into the College is based upon successful completion of an interview and an anticipated attainment of a high school diploma or a General Education diploma. Admission into the college does not guarantee admission into programs with selective admission requirements. After acceptance into the
College and successful completion of all prerequisites, students may apply to the selective admission programs.

Admission Requirements

  1. Interview with an Admissions Officer.
  2. Complete an application for admission to the College.
  3. Pay the $50 non-refundable application fee. (We accept application fee waivers for students that qualify.)
  4. Arrange to take the AccuplacerTM placement evaluation prior to registration.
All applicants will be informed of their status within two weeks of application.

The High School Admissions office would like to learn more about you! We encourage students to submit a high school transcript and a college essay about majors you are interested in pursuing at the College. Letters of recommendation are encouraged but not required.
