Message from the President

Thank you for your interest in Goodwin College. Many Presidents' letters offer you best wishes for your success. I certainly share that sentiment in welcoming you to Goodwin.

But that is only a first step. More than success, what I hope you truly find is personal significance. Every day I encounter people who seek success – sometimes at any cost. While I believe that success helps build a foundation, I also believe that our obligation in life is to serve others as well.

Too often, we live each day out of habit – each hour filled with the same things we did the day before. I hope that your time at Goodwin helps to remind you to live life intentionally– to lend a hand to those around you in need – to live a life of significance.

At Goodwin, I promise you a learning environment where we, as staff, faculty, and administrators, hold ourselves to this same standard. I hope you find us caring, energetic, and sincere. And I hope you will find us balancing competence with a willingness to improve at any opportunity.

When you leave Goodwin College, you will know that you have had an experience that will pave the way to success in a career or in advanced education. But even more, you will leave challenged to leverage those skills towards a life of significance.
