Please share a little bit about your background and what led you to Goodwin College. I spent 15 years in Corporate
America as an Office Manager. When I got married and moved to Connecticut, I
could not find a job. Coming from a family of Health Professionals, my
husband suggested that I go back to school for nursing. I was a bit hesitant
because I had not been in school for a long time. After researching a few
colleges, I chose Goodwin. For the most part, my
experience at Goodwin has been positive. I have had a few difficult moments
with getting my mind back into school and studying. I chose Goodwin because
of the personal touch that you receive. The class sizes are small and the
professors know your name. They take an interest in you and help you to
succeed. Knowing that I can make a
difference in the lives of others. After I leave Goodwin, I intend to get my Masters in Nursing and one day become a charge nurse or an administrator. Do you have a role model? Who? My Mother is one of the strongest and caring women that I know. She is my role model. Bernadine will graduate from Goodwin College on Sunday, June 13.
