Ways to Support Goodwin College:Funds at the Goodwin College FoundationHave the most impact with your gift by directing your giving in a way that means most to you.
Student Support Services FundNew! Direct your passion and investment to provide seed funding for the new student support services program. Student support services have been identified as a top college priority, as our student population continues to grow and their needs do, too. This fund allows the College to address at-risk student needs, increasing retention and improving graduation rates. The College receives this funding several times per year, to cover identified priorities such as additional laptops, tutors, and a testing center. Your support directly facilitates our students' ability to learn and increases their chances of graduating!
Scholarship FundThe Scholarship Fund supports the College's student aid budget. Over 90% of Goodwin College students are in need of aid to afford tuition and books. The College assisted with nearly $3Million in aid to these students last year, and the Scholarship Fund helps by raising funds to relieve this budget. Your support of scholarships helps our students to afford tuition, allowing them to focus on succeeding in class!
Scholarship for Future NursesThe Scholarship Fund for Future Nurses was started by Lois Daniels in honor of her mother, Cornelia Olin Kopp, who was very supportive when both her daughters decided to enter the field of nursing. Lois Daniels is founder of the Goodwin College nursing program and continues to teach Goodwin's future nurses today. Lois Daniels contributed the lead gift to establish this fund in 2004. The Fund allows donors to support the pursuits of future nurses and honor this distinctive profession of caring and skill. Donors: Support this Fund Students: Support this Fund Endowed Memorial Scholarship FundThe Goodwin College Foundation awards scholarships annually from its Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund, established to celebrate the memory of Goodwin College nursing students Bryan Ahern and Patrick Sheehan, whom the College lost from its family in 2006. The amount and number of awards is determined annually. In 2010, four scholarships were awarded at $2,000 each, and have been awarded each year at the banquet following the annual Goodwin College Foundation Golf Tournament in September. The more this fund grows, the more scholarship funding we are able to award to our students! Criteria & Student Selection: There is no application for this scholarship.
Capital Projects FundSupport the continued future growth of Goodwin College through the Capital Projects Fund. From magnet schools to academic quality initiatives to the launch of new academic programs, you enable the College to advance its mission through your support of this fund!
UnrestrictedSupport the financial priorities of the College through the Unrestricted Fund, which is accessed by the College on an as-needed basis to support high-priority and/or unanticipated needs.
