We opened our first magnet school, the Connecticut River Academy, which has already exceeded our expectations and opened up new vistas in our educational mission.

Our enrollment has increased 34% in only a year – and that trend continues. As of the end of our fiscal year, we had almost 2,800 students. Our flagship building is almost at capacity.

In spite of our growth, we are able to develop personal relationships with each of our students. To meet the demand of a growing student population, we have doubled the number of academic advisors, and increased the size of every department that provides direct student service. We have also increased our Ph.D.-credentialed faculty, to retain our ratio of 12 students for every teacher.

We've gained accreditation or re-accreditation from five bodies this past year – a testament to our dedication to quality. Each of these comprehensive assessments included measurement of our practices, outcomes, and most importantly, our students' success. We passed every test, earning praise

The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), our regional accreditor, was particularly impressed with our innovation and commitment "…we join the team in applauding the faculty tendency to go above and beyond in their dedication to students".
