Kudos and Happenings

Kayla Anne Engelhardt was born on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 1:19 AM! 9 lbs., 3 oz., 20 inches long - with lots of dark hair! Mom and Dad are doing great and are absolutely loving their beautiful little girl!

Milayna Tess-Sovath Daley was welcomed to the world by mom, dad and big brother Shawn, Wednesday April 4th at 6:45am. She weighed 6lbs 10oz and was 18 inches. Everyone is doing well and very excited with the new addition to the family. We also want to thank everyone for the support during the pregnancy and wishes after she was born!

AnnaLai Yen Navaroli was born at 10:29 p.m. AnnaLai weighed 7.5lbs. Mom and baby are doing well.

Laura Donner, Senior Admissions Officer and David Donner, Goodwin College Nursing Alumni, welcomed their second child into the world on October 1st, 2011. Easton Mark-Andrew Donner weighed 9 pounds 5 ounces and was 22 inches long. Easton is growing like a weed and now weighs nearly 15 pounds! He is a very sweet boy and is enjoying being a little brother to big sister Madilyn Grace.

Amanda Daddona recently participated in the Can-Am Dancesport Gala, an international ballroom competition held in Toronto.  She competed with her instructor, Evgueni Chaoulski, in International Standard and Latin, and placed first in several dances.  Amanda has been ballroom dancing for almost two years and is training to become a competitive dancer and instructor.  On October 4th, she will begin teaching a series of ballroom lessons at Goodwin College.

IT Director, Dan Rego took part in the recent Military Appreciation day at Rentschler Field on October 1. Although you cannot tell, Dan is on the right side of the flag, in the middle, wearing a white Goodwin sweatshirt, holding the red stripe.

On the first day of Autumn September 23, 2011 Kristen Mason-Markowski, admissions officer, and Chris Markowski, internal wholesaler for MetLife tied the knot at Incarnation church in Wethersfield, Connecticut; Followed by a reception at the gorgeous St. Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut. They spent their honeymoon in Aruba.
