Full-time faculty members are offered two primary opportunities to enroll in Goodwin College's health, welfare and retirement benefit programs: at the time of employment and at annual benefits open enrollment. Additional enrollment opportunities for the retirement plan also occur at the beginning of each quarter. Open enrollment periods are communicated through e-mail and the College’s management team. Elective Benefits

Goodwin College reserves the right to change any aspects of the elective benefit programs it offers to faculty at any time for any reason at its sole discretion.

Mandatory Benefits

The College makes contributions for and makes deductions from faculty members’ pay for social security. It also provides coverage for injuries and illnesses that arise in the course of employment under the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation law. Any faculty who suffers a work-related injury or illness must immediately report it, no matter how minor, to his/her supervisor and Human Resources.
