Community

At Goodwin College, service — and being a good neighbor — is part of our institutional fabric. Our students participate in community service activities both as a required part of their college experience and as a voluntary, enriching activity that gives back to the community. Our employees are also encouraged to take an active role in service activities throughout the state, and beyond.

REBUILDING TOGETHER is part of a National non-profit organization called Rebuilding Together. The goal of this organization is to bring communities together in efforts to assist those in need of general home repair and improvements.

Organized by the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life is an overnight relay-race style event to raise money for cancer research. Goodwin College students, faculty, and staff members regularly participate in teams at the East Hartford Relay For Life event.
