The Art Club and the Library Advocacy Committee is sponsoring a photo contest for the Goodwin College community. Winning photographs will be included in a 2011 Photo Calendar made available through the campus bookstore. Runners-up will be featured on the Goodwin website and may be used in college publications, such as Goodwin Magazine.

The theme of the calendar is “Four Seasons at Goodwin.” Possible photo subjects can include:

• People around campus
• Landscapes around campus
• Events on campus
• Academic life
• Social life on campus
• Humor

If your photo includes people, please let them know that the picture may be used in a calendar and other publications. Make sure you have their permission, and get their names and contact information to submit along with the photo. When you upload the photo on the web, there is a field where you can enter the names and contact information for anyone in the photo. Photos will only be accepted in digital format and should be in the highest resolution possible.  Click here to enter your information and upload your picture.

If your photo is chosen, you will be credited as the photographer.

The judging of the photos and the compilation of the calendar is being coordinated by the Art Club.
