"The mission statement of Faculty Senate is "to participate in the governance of the college by formulating and advocating the faculty perspective regarding academic policies, issues and concerns." As the current Faculty Senate Chair, I am excited to serve on the Board of Trustees. Through my membership, I hope to be able to promote the interest of the faculty and students, and provide service to Goodwin College."

Biography

Vicky Navaroli is an Assistant Professor and Course Coordinator of Anatomy and Physiology 2 in the Health and Natural Sciences Department. She has taught several other courses including Microbiology, Human Biology, and Introduction to Science lab at Goodwin as well as other other colleges across Connecticut in both the on-ground and hybrid format. She received her B.S. in Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut in 1997 and received her Ph.D. in Neurobiology Group of the Dept. of Biological Sciences and Laboratory of Integrative Neurobiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003. She also conducted her postdoctoral research at Yale University from 2003-2006 working age-related changes in learning and memory. She is the current Chair of Faculty Senate at Goodwin College
