Admissions

What to expect

At Goodwin, we want the warriors, the makers, the future-shapers, and the risk-takers, all with these important things in common: drive, determination, guts, goals, and hard work. We want students like you, who are destined for greatness and success — because that’s where our degree programs will take you.

The Goodwin University admissions process is straightforward and supportive. Whether you choose to complete the admissions process virtually, or on campus, a Goodwin University Admissions Officer will help guide you every step of the way.

Here’s what to expect when getting started:

  1. Speak with an admissions officer about your program of interest and get your questions answered
    1. Submit your application online
  2. Your admissions officer will send you an electronic form so we can attempt to obtain your official high school, or GED, transcripts
  3. First time college students: an English and math questionnaire will be emailed to you by your admissions officer so that we can help select courses for you to begin with
  4. Transfer students: submit a copy of your collegiate transcript(s) from each institution you attended for us to review
    1. An unofficial copy is fine to start the admissions process
    2. Official transcripts must be received by the end of your first semester
  5. Speak with an advisor about class scheduling options for the upcoming semester
    1. Your admissions officer will set this appointment for you
  6. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  7. Meet with a financial aid officer to review your aid eligibility and answer any questions you may have
    1. Your admissions officer will set this appointment for you
  8. After you’ve completed your financial aid appointment, your admissions officer will notify an advisor and you will receive an email with your official schedule, login information for all your student accounts, and confirm your enrollment!
