Academic Progress Coordinator

Dr. Koch joined Goodwin College in 2011 to ensure that students facing challenges in meeting academic goals are aware of the many resources available to them. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Hartford, as well as a Master of Education from The University of New Haven and a Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Koch’s professional interests include developmental education, self-reflection in teaching, and brain based learning. Her personal interests include animal welfare, healthy living, boating, and making quilts.

Her primary goal at this time is to assist Goodwin students in maintaining academic progress throughout their educational endeavors, using an empathic model that incorporates respect for individuals, diversity, and life experiences.
