PBH 320 - Health and Social Issues in Aging

3 credits (PREREQUISITE: ENG 101. COREQUISITE: PSY 300)

This course will explore health issues of aging adults including biological and environmental factors that may impede one’s quality of life. This course also explores the socialization of the aging population in the 21st century. This course provides the student with an understanding of health issues, social interactions, relationships and cognitive functions of the aging population. Cross-referenced with HSR 320. (F, Sp, Su)
