OPS 206 Contact Lens Theory II

3 credits (PREREQUISITE: ADMISSION TO THE OPHTHALMIC SCIENCE PROGRAM, "C" OR BETTER IN OPS 106)

This course builds on the concepts mastered in OPS 106, by concentrating on the impact of systemic and anatomical disorders on the contact lens environment. Students will learn about toric, aspheric, therapeutic, pediatric and multifocal contact lenses. Students will use case studies to gain experience in fitting contact lenses to a variety of situations. (F)
