BUS 410 - Theory and Practice of Business Research

3 credits (PREREQUISITES: BUS 101 or BUS 107, STAT 167 or Equivalent, ENG 101)

This course brings the student through the research process as it applies to business. Participants learn the process of research in anticipation of entering the business arena or in preparation for advanced degree work. They explore the various research approaches and the review of existing literature. The foundations of research, from data collection to the measurement process and design, help students understand the factors behind business trends and conceptualize new possibilities for future trends and practices through the analysis of data.
