COM 105 - Interpersonal Communications

3 credits (PREREQUISITE: NONE)

This course introduces students to effective communications in work settings. Topics include communicating in one-on-one conversations; participating in and leading meetings; creating e-mail, phone, social media, and written communications; making presentations; and resolving conflicts. Students learn how to be active listeners, interpret body language, tailor communications to different audiences, and other skills. COM (F, Sp, Su)
