HSC 420 - Public Health Research Methods

3 credits (PREREQUISITE: ENG 101 and 3 ADDITIONAL CREDITS IN COMPOSITION and STAT 167)

This course concentrates on the details of public health research design. It is designed to guide students through a step-by-step approach to qualitative, comparative, and quantitative research designs and analysis methods. Students will learn the language of research, various methods for conducting research and how to identify and synthesize research literature.
