NUR 351 - Introduction to Nursing Research

3 credits (PREREQUISITE: STAT 167; PREREQUISITE/COREQUISITE: NUR 310)

This course introduces the research process and its application to scholarship and evidenced-based nursing practice. Qualitative and quantitative methods are reviewed. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking and writing. This course enhances the student's ability to apply and integrate nursing conceptual frameworks, clinical research and evidenced-based practice.
