BIO 120 - Human Biology

4 credits (PREREQUISITES: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF FOUNDATIONAL MATH and ENGLISH or DEPARTMENTAL PERMISSION)

This course introduces the principles and concepts of human biology. Topics including chemical basis of life, cellular organization and all organ systems (digestive, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, nervous and reproductive systems) will be discussed with an emphasis on how they maintain homeostasis. The lab topics of the course are coordinated with the lecture content and will include some dissection. SCI (F, Sp, Su)
